The River: Tumi and Mabutho are caught red-handed
There’s a line you must never cross and unfortunately for Tumi and Mabutho, there’s no way of going back now. For the past few weeks, the two have been fooling around behind Lindani’s back, and while they’ve been having a great time together, they might have to stop. Their little secret has been exposed and there’s no telling how they’re going to explain themselves out of this one.
Tumi gets too comfortable with cheating
Who’s to blame for this affair? Well, both Tumi and Mabutho are adults and they knew exactly what they were doing. Tumi was way too comfortable with cheating on her husband with his cousin and she didn’t think about the consequences of her actions. She made things worse by not wanting to be intimate with Lindani, rejecting every chance she had to spend time with him.
Mabutho, on the other hand, was starting to get a bit uncomfortable with the idea and asked Tumi to leave Lindani for him. However, leaving a marriage isn’t that easy and Tumi just wanted to have fun without having to choose sides.
On the day they were caught, Tumi managed to convince Mabutho to continue seeing her on the side and asked him to see her after work. Feeling excited, he agreed. Meanwhile, Lindani was playing detective.
Tumi has some explaining to do
During a conversation with Mabutho, Lindani mentioned his suspicions about Tumi’s cheating, but thought that the man was Zolani. On Friday evening, while Lindiwe was preparing dinner for the family, she told Lindani that it would just be the three of them (including Zweli) at dinner because everyone had work commitments.
After Lindani heard that Tumi and Zolani would be working late, he immediately thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for him to catch them in the act. He grabbed his car keys and left the house. While Tumi and Mabutho were getting it on at work, someone walked in and bust them. They were both shocked and Tumi said the famous “it’s not what it looks like” line that all cheaters say when they’ve been caught.
