Truth S1
Armed with a diverse cast and a gripping plot, Truth is a Nigerian crime drama that centres around the mysterious death of Rotimi Bakare and the ensuing investigation into his murder.
Rotimi is the older of two sons, and is married to a woman from a different tribe, who is despised by his wealthy and influential mother. The life of the party and favourite child, he is found dead in his car following a night out in town celebrating a job promotion. At first glance, he appears to have died of a drug overdose, but investigations soon reveal otherwise and everyone is a suspect.
Look out for new-school Nollywood favourites like Mawuli Gavor, Ademola Adedoyin, Chy Nwakanma and The Voice’s Osebuka Chike-Ezekpeazu, as well as veterans Tina Mba and Sola Sobowale.
Truth is co-produced by Adaora Mbelu and MTN Project Fame alumnus, Anis Halloway, who also directed the show and produced the theme song.
