Unbroken S1
Family, power, and love take centre stage in this intriguing drama series that revolves around two wealthy and influential Nigerian families.
Tivdo Gyado and Jesse Jangfa are two young lovers whose families have been friends for many years. Following Jesse’s parent’s eventful 30th wedding anniversary where a mysterious attempted murder occurred, the pair become engaged and appear to be on their way to a lifetime of happiness, until a tragic event happens, testing their relationship on all fronts.
Meanwhile, as the young lovers deal with the fallout of the trouble that has befallen them, their parents battle troubles of their own. From secret lovers to ghosts from the past who threaten to expose secrets, and being the target of a relentless financial crimes investigator who is bent on seeing the Gyado and Jangfa patriarchs behind bars, everyone has something to hide. With the stakes so high, both families go to great lengths to preserve what’s most important to them.
Directed and co-produced by James Omokwe, the brain behind the highly-rated Ajoche, Unbroken is a story about family, love and betrayal. The show stars veteran actors like Maimuna Yahaya and Wale Macaulay. Others include Nonso Odogwu, Efa Iwara, Najite Dede and Big Brother Naija star Thin Tall Tony.
