Game of Thrones: The Last Watch (2019)
A companion documentary that was released along with the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, The Last Watch is a two-part documentary that gives viewers a small glimpse into what went into creating this epic fantasy series. The Last Watch doesn’t focus on the main cast. Instead, it zooms in on people behind the scenes, as well as some of the extras who fill in the backgrounds and give the show a solid base.
Sure, the stars like Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke (Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen respectively) get all the focus, but who is standing to the side of the scenes when they’re being filmed, making sure everything is together? Who is printing out scripts for table reads (and then making sure that they’re all shredded)? And who is always there when “a Stark foot soldier” is needed? These guys.
