Hullabaloo Estate S1-21
There’s nothing greater than seeing veteran comedy giants Olexander (Peter Sankale), Makhoha (Mathias Keya) and Ondiek (Hiram Mungai) back on our screens with the comedy series Hullabaloo Estate – a TV show that pays homage to the legendary and long-running courtroom sitcom Vioja Mahakamani.
Directed by Phil Karanja (Sue na Jonnie, Ma-Empress), Hullabaloo Estate, as the name suggests, follows residents of a typical neighbourhood in Nairobi as they go about their daily lives doing what they do best – engaging in shenanigans and disturbing everyone’s peace.
Hullabaloo Estate won the coveted Best TV Comedy in 2017, and was nominated again in 2018 (Best Performance in a TV Comedy for Mathias Keya) and 2020 (Best TV Comedy and Best Performance in a TV Comedy for Keya).
