Igiza episode 2 recap: Stolen identities and dirty money
It’s a case of stolen identities as Igiza episode 2 opens on Nicole literally walking up in her twin sister’s privileged life, poised to take back everything she lost. But she soon discovers that it isn’t easy walking in Linda’s shoes—she has to deal with the fallout from the failed store opening launch the night before, including some serious tension with Reggie (Kevin Samuel), who was relying heavily on the success of the evening to further his money laundering (wash wash) plans.
Then there’s the chance that every misstep Nicole makes can raise suspicion, from simple errors like eating foods her image-conscious sister would typically avoid to taking the wrong route to her son Ian’s school. At work, her personal assistant raises an eyebrow when Nicole doesn’t know the way to her (Linda’s) office. And that’s before she must figure out the password to her sister’s computer…

Linda, meanwhile, faces the stark reality of life in prison as she is punished for her sister’s prison break—savagely beaten and locked in solitary confinement. No matter what she tells the warden and prison guards about her stolen identity, they don’t believe she is who she says she is.

Things take a turn for the worse when Linda (as Nicole) is released into Block B, the most dangerous area of the prison, and corrupt prison guard Senje (Eillene Otieno) orders her assassination. Will Linda live to see another day?

In Igiza episode 2, we get to know some of the supporting characters better. Salome, Nicole’s prison ally, and her son Dom (you’ll remember him as Nicole’s accomplice in Igiza episode 1) have their own revenge agenda—but what it is yet, we don’t know.
The episode ends as Nicole, in her sister’s office, is handed a gym bag full of cash as part of Reggie’s money-laundering operation. But despite what this could mean, Nicole won’t be deterred and tells Dom that no matter what, “The plan stays the same.”
But what is the end goal of the plan, and what caused the rift between the sisters in the first place? You’ll need to stay tuned to find out how the story unfolds!
