Mia and the White Lion (2018)
Shot in South Africa over three years, this sweeping tale of the love between a girl and an endangered white lion stars Daniah De Villiers (Nul Is Nie Niks Nie), Langley Kirkwood (Warrior, Banshee), Brandon Auret (District 9, Rogue, Still Breathing) and SAFTA Lifetime Achievement winner Lillian Dube (Generations).
Directed by César nominee Gilles de Maistre (Le Premier Cri), Mia and The White Lion has also earned critical praise for its magnificent cinematography by SAFTA-winning South African cinematographer Brendan Barnes (Rogue, Vir die Voëls).
