Peppermint (2018)
A woman turns to violence and vigilantism to avenge the murders of her husband and daughter, who are killed by a drug lord in revenge for a planned robbery.
After the deaths, she realises the cartel has paid off the cops and even the judge in the case. There’s only one solution: to take matters into her own hands. She sets off down the road of violent crime after crime.
The movie stars Jennifer Garner, who returns to an action role – after all, her breakout role was as a CIA agent in the series Alias.
