Stream these LGBTQI+ gems
A whole pride of programmes strut onto our screens this month with a selection of delicious programming, including reality and competition shows, docuseries and new drama series.
In the past few years, TV series and movies have made great strides in representing the LGBTQ+ experience and including queer characters in their storylines. While we all know and love more recent gay characters such as Mitch and Cam in Modern Family, did you know the first gay character in a major TV series appeared as long ago as 1971, in a series called All In the Family?

The L Word: Generation Q
Jennifer Beals reprises her role as Bette Porter more than a decade later for this series sequel that follows the lives of a diverse group of LGBTQ+ characters living in LA.
Euphoria
Zendaya stars in this adults-only HBO series that follows a group of high school students as they navigate a minefield of drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship in today’s increasingly unstable world.
Gentleman Jack
Yorkshire, England, 1832. Landowner Anne Lister will do whatever it takes to save her ancestral home, and that includes marrying well – but not to a man. Based on the story of the real-life Anne and her search for a wife.
Sally4Ever
When Sally is courted by the free-spirited Emma, she drops her boring fiancé for a wild affair. Emma might not be as harmless as she seems – but maybe that’s exactly what Sally needs. Quirky and crude British comedy that’s definitely NSFW.
Looking
This critically acclaimed dramedy follows three gay men, Patrick, Dom and Augustin, who live in San Francisco. The friends support one another as they navigate life, relationships and family.
