Suits S1-9
In the beginning, Suits was about Mike, an insanely talented but secretly unqualified lawyer who talks his way into one of New York’s top law firms. He’s taken under the wing of the ruthless, brilliant Harvey Specter and together, they try to hide their secret.
But Suits has moved on, and so has Mike. Binge all eight seasons so far to follow the twists and turns that lead the characters down diverging paths. It’s riveting stuff.
The ten-episode final season of Suits centres on an evolved firm, Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams, which is facing uncertainty and change yet again after Robert Zane (Black Reel winner Wendell Pierce from Selma) took the fall with the Bar Association to save Harvey (Gabriel Macht). After his sacrifice, Samantha (Golden Globe nominee Katherine Heigl from Grey’s Anatomy) is left reeling from the loss of her mentor, and while trying to console her, Harvey realises that he doesn’t want to lose the most important person to him: Donna (Sarah Rafferty).
The sparkling cast has always been the key to Suits. Gabriel Macht plays it cool as Harvey Specter, with a brilliant foil in his secretary, Donna (Sarah Rafferty). Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) is his boss, and she’s so awesome she spawned her own spin-off series, Pearson. Patrick J Adams plays Mike, while, famously, his love interest, Rachel, was played by HRH herself, Meghan Markle.
Suits has 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, and The AV Club says: “Suits has more internal forward momentum than [al]most anything else on television right now, and when it’s on, like it mostly is here, it just cooks.”
