Tshepo (2021)
In an effort to save his late father’s land and provide for his pregnant girlfriend, Tshepo becomes a bookkeeper for the notorious Bakwena Mafia. After a gang raid ends with the killing of a well-respected member of the community, Tshepo finds himself on the run from both the authorities and the Bakwena Mafia…
Mpho Sebeng (Ring of Lies, Soul Buddyz) stars as Tshepo opposite the likes of Africa Movie Academy Award winner Lebohang Ntsane (The Forgotten Kingdom), SAFTA nominees Molefi Monaisa (Skeem Saam, Lockdown) and Makalo Mofokeng (Muvhango), and familiar faces like Khojane Morai (Lithapo), Mulisa Mudau (Muvhango), and Sello Motloung (Rockville).
Produced by Tribal Media House (The Hangman), Tshepo is directed by Nozipho Nkelemba, who starred in The Forgotten Kingdom, directed Umakoti Wethu and Gomora, and wrote Emoyeni.
