Ultimate Love: Michael and Cherry get the Axe, and Nomination blues grip the Love guests
After three weeks on air, the first couple has been checked out of the Ultimate Love pad. Micheal and Cherry, known by their couple name #Miccherry emerged as the first set of love guests to get the axe after scoring the least amount of votes.

Other couples who were up for checking out were #Obiebi, #Iykeresa, #PreshDavid and #Chivia, who lost the Monday mission and a chance to be saved to #Jerriton.
It would be recalled that last week, aunty had selected #Chivia and #Jerrition to partake in the Monday mission for a chance to be saved from getting checked out. The challenge saw the two couples cleaning up the beach.

Back on stage, in a chat with Dakore on his time in the house, Micheal revealed that he initially had a connection with Bolanle. However, they both decided things wouldn’t work because of their tribal differences – Bolanle is Yoruba while Micheal is Igbo, also Bolanle is six years older than Micheal. On her part, Cherry who said she felt “awesome” about being checked out of the house described her time in the house as “everything I dreamt of”, adding that it was like a vacation which she needed.
The pair didn’t leave empty-handed though. In a twist of events, the couple were asked to select a portmanteau from the lineup of portmanteaus on stage and they ended up winning a cash gift of N350,000.

Meanwhile, back in the house, the love guests were asked to nominate two couples for possible checking out next week. #Jerriton, #Obiebi, #Roksie, #DoubleChris, #Bolar, #Jaykech, #Jelo and #Chivia all got nominated while #Preshdavid and #Iykeresa escaped nominations.
After the live show, Aunty paid a visit to the love guests where she selected #Obiebi and #Jaykech to partake in the Monday task which involves a visit to a home for the visually impaired.
As usual, voting kicks off Tuesday at 8.30pm.
