Watch Megan Fox vs militants and a vicious lioness in the Rogue trailer
If you think of Megan Fox as just a Hollywood sex symbol, think again: in Rogue, she returns to her action roots – after all, she first smashed her way onto our screens as Mikaela Banes in the first two Transformers movies (stream them here and here on Showmax). But this time, the enemies are sci-fi robots, but all-too-real threats from our here and now.
Watch the trailer, just released by Showmax.
Samantha O’Hara is the tough leader of a group of mercenaries sent into to rescue a valuable “package” from a group of militants in an undisclosed African country. But when their extraction plan goes wrong, they’re trapped in an abandoned lion breeding facility, facing not only the militants but the wrath of a killer lioness.
While the movie is undoubtedly packed with all-out action fun, it also hides a serious message about conservation – and about the power of a courageous woman with an enormous arsenal of weapons.
Look out for Rogue, coming to exclusively Showmax on 3 December.
