Life With Kelly Khumalo S1-3
A household name by 21, Kelly Khumalo is one of South Africa’s biggest music stars. She’s been named Best Female Artist at the South African Music Awards, sold millions of albums, opened for Grammy winner Missy Elliott, and has over 2.4m followers on Instagram alone.
But in recent years, her stardom has been dogged by controversies, from her turbulent relationship with her son’s father, hip hop star Jub Jub, and the conspiracy theories surrounding the death of her daughter’s father, Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.
Season 3 picks up in April 2022 with #KellyKhumalo trending on Twitter again, with the release of a true-crime documentary series about the death of Meyiwa and his trial about to start. As Kelly says in the trailer, “They hate the fact that I am the one who did not die that day.”
Despite the conspiracy theories, she’s at the pinnacle of her career, with a SAMA-nominated Gold album.
But there’s more to her story than her history. Life With Kelly Khumalo is an intimate glimpse at the woman behind the headlines.
The explosive Season 3 is now streaming with new episodes dropping every Tuesday. Also binge Seasons 1-2, all exclusive to Showmax.
