Madam has a heart-to-heart with Mercy
There’s one thing you need to know about Madam: she would do anything for her family, especially her children. The former Real Housewives of Johannesburg star, who now heads her own reality show, has been very candid about her relationship and bond with her two daughters, Princess and Mercy.
Last week, Madam opened up about her struggles to conceive and how it took her more than 10 years to have her youngest child. This week, Madam was all about showing appreciation and love to Mercy. The mother and daughter were having a heartfelt moment that brought both of them to tears.
“I’d like to say that I’m very proud of you. And I hope that you will continue being there for me at all times,” Madam told Mercy. She explained that their relationship has come a long way. “I’ve spent so much time away from her.”
Madam was also very clear about the fact that she wants their bond to be strong, no matter what happens. “If anything happens, please continue to take care of me. As a mother, I will continue making mistakes because I am not perfect. But I will fix what I can.”
Madam, who is very excited about her upcoming wedding, added that she will always honour the time that God has given her to spend with her children.
“As a mother, I feel it’s very important and it’s my responsibility to tell Mercy the depth of my heart.” Mercy has previously mentioned that she’s happy to have a mother that she can be open with. “That’s the only way you have a mother-daughter relationship that will last forever. You’re open, you’re honest.”
She added: “There’s things that I won’t like, there’s things that she won’t like but we know what those things are and that’s what carries our relationship to be continuously so strong.”
