Meet the cast of Legacy S1-2
Legacy follows the story of the super-wealthy Price family. At the start of Season 1, patriarch Sebastian Price is approaching retirement and one of his family members will soon have to take over the reins of his business, Legacy Investment.
His ruthless first-born daughter has her eye on the position of CEO and she will do about anything ensure she gets it. Who will it be? And at what price? Season 1 is ready to catch up on, streaming in full on Showmax.
The cast of Season 1
Kgomotso Christopher as Dineo Price
Sebastian’s second wife has been married to the patriarch for 20 years. She has three step-children and a son, and is determined to protect the family’s legacy for her children.
Anton David Jeftha as SJ
Sebastian Junior is Dineo and Sebastian’s son. He is the glue that holds the Price family together, and is a loving presence to his sisters and his parents – but he has another side to him.
Sean-Marco Vorster as Stefan Potgieter
Stefan is a bit of a loose cannon. He works as the Price’s chauffeur, and is fiercely protective of his family – his father and his little sister, Petra. You’ll recognise Sean-Marco from Alles Malan.
Trix Vivier as Petra Potgieter
Petra is a junior business analyst who starts working for Legacy after her brother, Stefan, puts in a good word for her. You’ll recognise Trix as Flea in Trackers.
Mary-Anne Barlow as Felicity Price
Felicity is Sebastian Price’s eldest daughter, and if anyone loves the family business, it’s Felicity. How far will she go to make sure Legacy stays in the Price’s hands? Mary-Anne has starred in Farewell Ella Bella and had a long-running role in M-Net’s epic Egoli: Place of Gold.
Michelle Botes as Angelique Price
Angelique is Sebastian’s ex-wife, who was integral to the founding of Legacy Investments all those years ago. She sees everything Sebastian has built as part of her own legacy. Soapie lovers will known Michelle from her role as Cherel de Villiers Haines in Isidingo.
Reandi Grey as Elizabeth Price and Jay Anstey as Lexi Price
Elizabeth is the super-organised middle sister who is everyone’s rock. She grew up with her mother, Angelique, rather than in the mansion, and so she was raised to speak Afrikaans. She wishes she was more like Felicity, who is their father’s clear favourite.
Lexi is the youngest Price sister, who was raised in the mansion by Sebastian and Dineo. She went to an English school, and has no interest in the family business. There’s nothing she can’t get away with.

Don Mlangeni Nawa plays John, the longest-serving employee at the company – in fact, the guy who was there when the doors opened. He knows everyone’s deepest, darkest secrets.
Dawid Minnaar plays Willem Potgieter, the patriarch of the Potgieter family. He is a recovering alcoholic with a bruised ego and bleak disposition. He is the father to the siblings entwined with the Prices.
Deon Lotz plays the man at the centre of it all – Sebastian Price. He decides to step down from his company so that a successor can take his place. He is known as a business maverick in the finance world.
New faces in Season 2
The secret son
Robbie Hugo (André Lötter) is a nobody on their radar. He doesn’t even live in Sandton. “He’s a jeep jockey. He loves the thrill of adventuring and he has led tours out across Kenya and northern Africa. The last thing he thinks of is being part of the Price family,” explains André. But that’s exactly who he is.
Robbie was raised by bar-owning Jerry (not seen), a well-meaning man who helped Robbie’s mom Janet (Kate Normington, who you’ll recognise as Michelle from Tali’s Wedding Diary and Tali’s Baby Diary) hide her secret: that while working as married Sebastian Price’s personal assistant, they had an affair and she fell pregnant.
“Jerry made Janet promise that she wouldn’t tell anyone – especially Robbie – that Jerry wasn’t his father. Jerry raised him as his own son and that’s how they finished off when Jerry died following a lengthy illness.”
Having broken down at Jerry’s funeral, Janet’s revelation to her son that he’s a part of the Price family sends him not on a physical journey to Joburg to find his place in the world, but also on an intense psychological journey.
“He’s now questioning everything. His entire life has somewhat been a lie,” says André. “Robbie is lost and needs to find himself. He wants to know more about his family, his siblings, the world that he is part of. It’s important to him and it’s weighing him down.”

Robbie isn’t lying when he rocks up in Joburg claiming to be a Price, but that’s not the picture Angelique paints. “She is tough. She knows what her ex-husband got up to and she knows that she cannot allow any more of the Price assets to be split up. She declares war and starts convincing her daughters not to trust ‘this new pretender’,” explains André.
It won’t just be Robbie getting involved – his mom and brother Ben (Arno Greeff) will also introduced to the Price world as they try to help Robbie with his new life.
Lurking in the shadows
And here’s a huge one: Nico Panagio is joining as Detective Marco Andino. The host of Survivor SA takes on this interesting role as he’s investigating a murder connected to the Price family … but he’s lying to his two suspects.
Dineo thinks that he’s just a nosey parker who is sticking his nose in other people’s business at Legacy Investments, like an annoying ankle-biting Maltese poodle that just won’t stop. And with Felicity, he lies about his work and seduces her with his charm and brooding good looks.
“Felicity has a need and a yearning for love, to be accepted. So when Marco shows an interest in her, she doesn’t question the missing dots and the holes in her story,” says Mary-Anne.
It’s going to be a difficult ride for Felicity when she figures out who Marco is and what he’s in town for. She and Dineo think that they’ve literally got away with murder (after killing someone who tried to blackmail them) but what they don’t know is that Marco is connected to the murder victim and he’s searching for the truth about Darren’s demise… and to get payback.
