Rockville S1-5
One of South Africa’s most popular shows, Rockville is ready to binge all the way from the beginning to the latest season, episodes of which are coming express to Showmax from Mzansi Magic.
Rockville revolves around the wealthier Bogatsus and the working class Mabasos, and their ongoing feud. Jackson “JB” Bogatsu is played by SAFTA winner and BET A-List Game Changer Shona Ferguson, while determined Mavis is played by his real-life wife, Connie Ferguson. Notable cast members over the seasons have included Terry Pheto, Bonnie Mbuli, Mbali Mlotshwa, Boity Thulo, Brenda Ngxoli, Trevor Gumbi, Sello Sebotsane, Thembsie Matu, Shaleen Surtie-Richards, Clint Brink, Masego “Maps” Maponyane and many, many more. Thulisile Phongolo joins the cast for Season 5.
Season 5 of the popular, SAFTA-winning Ferguson Films drama series Rockville catches up with JB as he tries to field the aftermath of what Covid-19 did to his finances, leaving him out of money, with his business barely making ends meet and creditors knocking on the door.
As the crisis threatens to cost him both his house and the fancy cars he has gifted Lindi (SAFTA nominee Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa from upcoming Showmax Original Blood Psalms), tensions rise in his marriage, and JB must ask tough questions about the survival of his family.
