Superstore S1-6
Superstore follows a group of employees at an American big-box store – and it’s one of the funniest comedies on TV. From hapless store manager Glenn to cynical Amy and earnest, handsome Jonah, to bitingly funny assistant manager Dina, each member of the team brings something unique to the floor.
In the 15-episode final season, the Cloud 9 staff find themselves fielding panic buying, personal space issues, and suddenly being considered pandemic heroes.
Stream all six seasons of Superstore on Showmax.
The cast includes Golden Globe winner America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), Emmy nominees Ben Feldman (Silicon Valley), Mark McKinney (The Kids in the Hall) and Colton Dunn (Key and Peele), and Nichole Sakura (Shameless), as well as award winner Nico Santos as Mateo.
“In terms of laughs per minute and laughs per character, no show comes close to touching Superstore’s large cast,” says Decider. “This is the biggest, funniest cast since The Office, and they are at the height of their power.”
Superstore has a 100% critics’ score for Seasons 2-5 on Rotten Tomatoes and 93% for Season 6. About the final season, the critics’ consensus says: “As funny and poignant as ever, Superstore closes up shop with a superb sixth season that solidifies its place as one of TV’s greatest workplace comedies.”
Besides awards for Lauren Ash and Nico Santos, 2021 also brought the show its third nomination for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, while the series finale was nominated for the 2022 Writers Guild of America Award for Best Episodic Comedy.
“It’s a riot,” says Entertainment Weekly. “I live for sequences in the break room, when laugh lines pinball through the brilliant ensemble.”
