The River: Dimpho loses it, stabs Palesa
Love usually brings out the best in people. But this can’t be said for Dimpho. Is she going too far to keep her relationship with Morapedi? We certainly think so. At first, she got a restraining order against her family and kicked them out of the house.
Now she’s stabbed someone just because she feels threatened by her. Has Dimpho lost it? It really looks like it. Let’s keep you up to speed on what you might have missed on The River last week.
Dimpho moves in with Morapedi
After Morapedi dumped her, Dimpho went straight home and apologised to her family for everything she had put them through. The Mokoenas made peace and things went back to normal.
However, after going back to work, Dimpho and Morapedi decided sort their issues out and they were back in each other’s arms. The Khanyisa Diamonds intern went back home and informed her aunt and brother about the latest developments in her relationship. She also left them stunned and disappointed after revealing that she’d be moving in with her boyfriend.
Her family was against this, of course, but their disapproval didn’t stop Dimpho from following her heart. “The heart wants what the heart wants,” she told Cobra and Kedibone. She moved in with Morapedi without even warning him about it. Although he was hesitant at first, Morapedi warmed up to the idea of Dimpho being around. He thanked her for taking care of him and making sacrifices just to be with him.
Dimpho loses it
He also surprised her with a romantic evening and even professed his love for her for the first time. For once, their relationship looked like a real thing.
However, their happiness was short-lived. For some reason, Morapedi thought it would be a great idea to have dinner with the woman he and Dimpho had a fight about. The same woman chased out of his hotel room the week before. They clearly have a history together.
Whatever is going on between them is making Dimpho very uncomfortable. She spotted them chatting and looking very happy. She didn’t like that and told Palesa to stay away from her man. Morapedi tried to calm the ladies down but things just escalated.
Just as we thought it wouldn’t get any worse, Dimpho got a knife and repeatedly stabbed Palesa.
