The River: Dimpho reveals her shocking secret
We’ve been following The River since the very first episode and one thing we know for sure is that there’s always a bombshell! If it’s not Lindiwe and her shenanigans, it’s Cobra and his criminal ways. However, this time around both Lindiwe and Cobra were not involved in any drama. This time it’s Dimpho who got viewers’ jaws on the floor.
Dimpho tells Tshepo about her pregnancy
The university student has been doing quite well in the past year. She’s been behaving like the young woman that she is, studying hard and following the rules. Not only that but we’ve come to learn Dimpho has also been busy with her boyfriend, Tshepo. Their relationship is now moving to a different level because she has found out that she’s pregnant. The test was done after she suddenly got sick and was throwing up all over the place. While her family was busy preparing for her late father’s tombstone unveiling, Dimpho was experiencing the worst kind of pain. Because her loved ones were concerned, they told her to go to the clinic to find out what the problem is.
She came back in a very sour mood and couldn’t even enjoy the celebrations at home. Her family obviously wanted to know what she was told at the clinic and she said it was just a stomach bug. It’s clear that she’s not ready to share the news with anyone else but Tshepo. She called him to the side and told him that she’s pregnant. His reaction? Very shocking! He told her that there’s no way she’s pregnant and that he’s not the father.
Andile wants justice for Njabulo
Instead of celebrating their recent engagement, Andile and Njabulo are nursing each other’s wounds after being attacked in a hate crime. While Njabulo has physical scars everywhere, Andile seems to be carrying a lot of emotional scars. He’s been very angry since the attack and wants the culprits to be brought to book.
It looks like he won’t have to go too far to look for the perpetrators because one of them has just been employed by Lindiwe. Musa, who happens to be Flora’s cousin, is now Lindiwe’s PA. He got the shock of his life after seeing Andile at the office and had a flashback of the day he attacked him and his fiancé. And, to make things worse, Andile seems to remember that he’s met Musa before – he just can’t figure out where. Musa and his friends were wearing masks in the attack, so it’s anyone’s guess whether Andile will figure it out.
