The River: Lindiwe recovers her missing diamonds and exacts revenge!
What was Cobra thinking when he gave the stolen diamonds to Lindani? We understand that he probably didn’t want to keep them in his home and he obviously believed that they’d be safer in Lindani’s hands. However, when you commit a crime, the fewer people know, the better. This is a lesson for Cobra!
We all know that Lindani is a good person and has never been into crime. However, when he was dragged into Cobra’s shenanigans, he had no choice but to assist. But as time went by, Lindani could no longer take the pressure of keeping such a big secret and started taking his frustrations out on his wife, Tumi. He also became very grumpy around other people.
Lindani shares his big secret with Charlie
His sadness and anger drove him to alcohol but that seems to have made things worse for the newlywed. While he was drunk, he told one of his friends, Charlie, that Lindiwe’s stolen diamonds are with him and that he can no longer take the burden of living with such a huge lie. The friend assured him that he wouldn’t tell anyone about the news, but he quickly changed his tune after Lindiwe announced that she’d be giving a R500 000 reward to anyone with information.
Charlie thought long and hard before finally deciding to contact Lindiwe. He called her and told her he has all the details she needs about her missing diamonds, and later requested R2 million instead of the initial reward.
The mining mogul agreed but as we all know, Lindiwe is always ten steps ahead and she wasn’t going to part with that much money. Lindiwe and Charlie met at a restaurant and they immediately got to the point. Mrs Dlamini-Dikana wanted all the information, but Charlie played hard to get. When she asked for a name, he refused and told that he wasn’t going to speak until she showed him money. He clearly didn’t know who he was dealing with.
Will Lindani survive?
Before he could even think of running, Lindiwe and Zolani had Charlie tied up and they took him to Khanyisa Diamonds where they tortured him. He refused to speak at first, but things got too much and he eventually told them Lindani had the diamonds.
Lindiwe quickly came up with a plan to recover her precious gems. She told Zweli that she had given up hope on ever finding the diamonds, meanwhile, she was planning on getting them back from Lindani. Her plan was simple: go to Lindani and Paulina’s house when they’re at work and get the diamonds. So, Lindiwe and Zolani went to the house and turned it upside down until they found what they were looking for. Lindiwe mentioned that some were still missing but as they were still searching, a drunk Lindani walked in. Before he could even see or say anything, Lindiwe shot Lindani and he fell to the ground. The aunt and nephew checked to see if he was still breathing and then ran out of the house.
Now the question on our minds is whether Lindani will survive or not. Stay glued to Showmax to catch up with The River. New episodes air 15 minutes after the DStv broadcast.
