Deon Meyer’s thrilling novel comes to life in this tense series that follows several interwoven storylines. Plus, it has some of South Africa’s top talent in the starring roles: Rolanda Marais plays Milla, a former housewife who goes from a life of domesticity to a life of intrigue when she inadvertently takes a job at a government agency; James Gracie is Lemmer, a former Special Forces operative who’ll need all his skills to unravel a mystery; Sandi Schultz is Janina Mentz, head of the Presidential Bureau of Intelligence, and Thapelo Mokoena is Quinn, her Chief of Ops. Trix Vivier plays mysterious Cornel “Flea” van Jaarsveld, and Emmanuel Castis is Suleiman, who’s on the run from the CIA and has Cape Town in his sights.
