The River: All eyes on Lindiwe, Zweli and Sheree
The past few episodes of The River have once again left us gasping for air. Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, it turns out there’s more. Sheree continues to leave viewers feeling all kinds of emotions, while Zweli is quickly losing his patience with her. In case you missed all the drama, here’s a recap of what went down last week.
Is Sheree crazy?
It seems like Sheree takes the craziness up a notch every single day. If you thought drugging Zweli (Lindiwe’s husband) was dramatic, you better think again. This week, viewers watched in shock while Ms Jacobson forced Zweli to take off his pants. What in the world won’t she do to get this man? She will stop at nothing!
She has now even resorted to blackmailing him – going as far as threatening to share pictures (and a video) of them in bed together. Remember the time she spiked Zweli’s drink and slept with him? Well, it turns out Sheree secretly recorded the whole thing. It’s only a matter of time before everything comes out.
Lindiwe is back
Viewers’ emotions were all over the place when Lindiwe made her way back to our screens. Not only are we happy that she’s finally back home, but we’re also curious to see what will happen if she finds out what Sheree has been up to. Just the thought of Lindiwe walking in on Zweli and Sheree had us on the edge of our seats. This almost happened – poor Zweli was once again seduced by Sheree and almost got caught with his pants down.
As soon Lindiwe walked in we were on the edge of our seats! 🙈🙊#TheRiver1Magic

This week we’re all looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen now that Lindiwe is back. Will Sheree slow it down, or will she continue to pursue Zweli? If she does the latter then she clearly doesn’t know what Mrs Dlamini is capable of.

So far, everyone is enjoying his scones and business seems to be booming. Great, right? Does this mean Oupa is finally over his criminal ways? Also, is this new business venture legit? Well, these are just a few of the questions viewers need answers to. You better believe that we’ll be tuning in to find out what Oupa’s true intentions are with his business.
Just by looking at what happened last week, you can tell that this week is going to be filled with action. Don’t miss all the drama on The River now streaming on Showmax. New episodes air 15 minutes after the TV broadcast and all previous episodes are available to binge-watch.
