Babylon (2022)
From Oscar winner Damien Chazelle (La La Land), Babylon is a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, which traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood in the 1920s.
Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva were all nominated for Golden Globes for their lead roles, opposite the likes of Emmy winner Jean Smart (Hacks), Emmy nominee Jovan Adepo (Watchmen), and multi-award-winner Olivia Wilde (Don’t Worry Darling).
Babylon was nominated for nine Critics Choice Awards, including Best Picture, as well as three Oscars and three BAFTAs, winning 45 international awards. The Wall Street Journal calls the film “a loving warts-and-all portrait of late-1920s Hollywood.”
