BBN S7: The Buzz episode 9: “Amaka is trying to be a reduced copy of Cee-C,” says Nonzo Bassey
We can always count on Toke Makinwa and her guests on The Buzz to share their unfiltered opinion about BBNaija housemates, and this week singer/actor Nonzo had us screaming “shade” after he described Amaka as unoriginal and “trying to be a reduced copy of Cee-C”.
Nonzo was a guest on The Buzz, alongside blogger Gossip Girl and content creator Hawa Ibrahim, and made the comparison between Amaka, and BBNaija Double Wahala first runner-up Cee-C, while commenting on Amaka’s numerous fights last week. He added that it seemed like she was intentionally trying to insert herself in every situation in the house.
Moving on to the Chizzy and Bella fight that saw Sheggz leap to his lady love’s defense, and caution Chizzy against calling a woman names, the guests agreed Sheggz had overstepped by generalising and saying Nigerian men insult women. Hawa further pointed out that Sheggz was in no position to make such a statement, especially because he had been very insulting to Phyna earlier in the week.

Also up for discussion this week was the brewing romance between Daniella and Dotun and Daniella’s comment about being “asexual” despite constantly making out with Dotun.
Since the merging of the houses, the pair have been spending a lot of time together, a move that has raised a lot of eyebrows given that she had been in a ship with Khalid. Speaking on the matter, Hawa and Nonzo agreed that said Daniella was trying to have her cake and eat it, adding that perhaps her aggressive cuddling with Khalid and now Dotun was her attempt to snap out of being asexual.
The guests closed things out with the fight between Phyna and Bryann. While Toke shared that she thought Phyna was out of place with her comment about being older, Hawa said she thought Bryann needed to be put in his place. She further pointed out that Bryann was always quick to fight with the women, but never with any of the other guys.
