Born into Fame: Robbie ghosts Tank and the group
A road trip is always a good idea. And there’s nothing better than doing it with a group of friends, right? Tank decided to bring some good vibes to the crew and organised a getaway to Durban. This was meant to allow him and his cast members to let loose and have some fun in the sun. “I want to take them out of Johannesburg because there are a lot of issues,” Tank said.
He was joined by Khanya, who is his manager and someone he’s introduced as his girlfriend. Phila, Shamiso, AJ and Owami were also part of the trip. However, Robbie was nowhere to be seen. On their way to pick up their other co-stars, Phila asked Tank about Robbie’s whereabouts.
Ghosted

When Phila called, Robbie didn’t pick up his call. “Robbie has decided to ghost us,” Khanya said. Tank is under the impression that Robbie might have an issue with him because it’s not the first time he’s ignoring him. The group got to Durban in the evening and they were excited. The next day, they hung out together before a night out. Someone was still missing in action, though.
Shamiso asked Tank: “As the host, where’s Robbie?” He told her: “I tried calling him, he didn’t pick up my phone. I don’t know why he doesn’t like picking up calls.” Tank didn’t seem to have a problem with Robbie not being on the trip. “Whether he’s here or not, there’s no difference,” he said.
What competition?

He told his fellow cast members that Robbie probably didn’t show up because he’s “scared of competition”. Some didn’t understand what Tank was referring to. Phila commented: “I don’t know what competition that could be. Maybe it’s between them.”
Robbie’s absence didn’t stop them from enjoying themselves in Durban as they decided to go to a club. Fun was on the agenda. “It’s been a while since I’ve performed in KZN. So, I’m looking forward to it, I’m excited. The vibe there is always up. And those lights in the club? Come on, I’m so down," Owami said.
