Down a Dark Hall (2018)
Fans of super-creepy horror will love this Spanish-American movie about a troubled young girl, Kit, who is sent to a mysterious boarding school when she’s expelled from her previous alma mater. There are only a few students – but while the ominous school buildings might be empty of people, they are full of secrets. It starts with strange sounds in the corridors, but soon Kit is faced with terrifying apparitions.
AnnaSophia Robb is Kit, alongside Uma Thurman as Blackwood Boarding School’s intimidating headmistress, Madame Duret. It’s based on the novel by Lois Duncan, which was optioned by Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga.
