Eye of the Needle
Money, they say, is the root of all evil. This is the issue that’s so vastly explored in Eye of the Needle.
The show revolves around several families each facing distinct challenges.
Susan and Akin are successful professionals who barely have time for their children, however, things come to a head for them when their only son is involved in a car accident.
Anette and her husband appear to have everything going for them – wealth, power, and more. However, the couple’s inability to conceive leaves her desperate for a child.
Meanwhile, Joy and her family can barely make ends meet, leaving her graduation from university hanging in the balance.
Eye of the Needle explores themes like wealth vs poverty, parental negligence, and infertility.
The show is directed by Chidi Anyawu Chidox (Strangers in Love) and stars Jennifer Eliogu who fans will remember from the string of hit movies she starred in the early 2000s including Sawam, My Blood, and more recently, Husbands of Lagos.
