Life With Kelly Khumalo Season 3: Thingo’s late father is still present in her life
In Life With Kelly Khumalo Season 3 episode 7, Kelly takes viewers on another emotional journey. The award-winning singer has been serving nothing but vulnerability this season, and her visit to a numerologist takes things up a notch. Kelly has been going through a lot in her personal life lately and although things are still hectic, what she was told during her consultation gave her a sense of comfort.
The presence of a masculine energy
The numerologist, Sandy, told her that she has masculine energy around her. “Could be male, could be female – it’s not your mother – that sits by your side, that is your support,” Kelly was told. She immediately connected that energy to her late grandmother. “She has a man energy like me,” Kelly said, describing her grandmother as the love of her life.
The numerologist explained: “Whenever you think of her, this is for anybody, whenever you think of somebody who’s passed it’s because they are being present.” The mother of two agreed with that explanation and added: “I feel her every day.”
She said that the grandmother is from her mother’s side of the family. “I feel her, wherever I go I feel her. I can even smell her.” Kelly was told that feeling her grandmother’s presence is a good thing because “she’s telling you that she’s there for you. She’s your pillar”.
Senzo’s presence in Thingo’s life
Another thing that was revealed during the session is that Thingo’s father, the late Senzo Meyiwa, is always by her side. The numerologist revealed: “I must tell you that Thingo also has a grandmother by her side, and father.”
This made Kelly more emotional, and she cried as she shared: “Her father, oh my God, I’m glad. I’m so glad… It’s tough, okay. But knowing that he’s there because I’m also asking like ‘please, just be there for her’.”

Hearing that Senzo, although he’s gone, is still present in her daughter’s life brings Kelly a lot of comfort.
“Knowing that Senzo is with Thingo all the time, you don’t know what that means to me.” And maybe that’s exactly what the singer needed to hear to get through everything that’s been happening in her life right now. As you may know, the Senzo murder trial is still ongoing, and Kelly’s name has been brought up quite a lot.
The singer’s entire family, including her mother, have been brought into the matter and they’re trying to deal with things legally. “The Khumalo family has been dragged through the mud for the past eight years. We’ve had serious allegations with no substantial evidence simply because the Meyiwas did not like me,” Kelly said on the show.
