Liz Prins on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip - SA
Fans of The Real Housewives will remember Liz Prins from the first season of The Real Housewives of Gqeberha. Now, she's on the Showmax Original The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip - SA, along with seven other stars from The Real Housewives franchise in South Africa. Here, she tells us in her own words what she loved about the trip to Jamaica, and what surprised her most.
"I was extremely anxious about going to Jamaica with all these strong women. I also felt that I am a little fishy compared to them.
The first day of filming, I was very overwhelmed to be with all these women, and I hardly got a word in. My first impression of the ladies, to be honest, was, “hmmm… some aren’t very bright, a little bit cuckoo,” but did they live up to the hype? Absolutely yes! They are all divas and absolutely crazy and beautiful.
"Watching the first episode I want to clarify that my franchise, Gqeberha, was absolutely fantastic, it was not toxic, and it was not boring, in fact, it was so great that Showmax decided to use Gqeberha’s production company GOAT to film the Ultimate Girls Trip. So what do you guys say now? It was not Durban’s production company but Gqeberha’s that filmed the Ultimate Girls Trip!
"My Gqeberha co-stars did not reach out to me when they saw that I was part of the Ultimate Girls Trip. None of them! They are too jealous. Except my bestie, Noma, of course. She has been very supportive."
