Rancid (2011)
In South African zombie horror film Rancid, four people sign up for medical experiments, each with their own agenda. Locked in a remote facility, they’re left to figure out what part they’re supposed to play. But the experiment quickly devolves into a fight for survival as the facility’s guards turn against the shady corporation behind the experiments.
Brandon Auret (Still Breathing), Clive Gilson, Craig Hawks and Christien Le Roux all star in this savage film.
Producer Ryan Macquet said: ““We wanted to create a unique zombie film, something that steers away from your typical, post apocalyptical brain-eating horde of monsters chasing people. Rancid is very
different, a lot more intimate and intricate.”
