Showmax and six packs? Full workouts now streaming
With large parts of the world confined to home, staying fit is a major challenge. With that in mind, a new video collection featuring Virgin Active certified trainers has been added to Showmax.
The Lockdown Workouts collection is a growing catalogue of full workouts including high-intensity training, mobility flow and metabolic conditioning.
This is another way Showmax is working to help viewers during the global COVID-19 crisis. Live news channels were recently added as a way to keep up to date on all the latest developments with respect to COVID-19. On top of that, an Edutainment Collection has been added to the kids’ section to help parents find content that teaches while keeping children busy.
Candice Fangueiro, head of content for Showmax said:
“Showmax was always about entertainment but it’s now also about education, about keeping people informed, and about keeping in shape. We’re busy looking at what other steps we can take to do our part and help out during this crisis.”
