Single Kiasi episode 1: The Instagram life, cheating husbands and naughty surprises
In Single Kiasi episode 1, Showmax’s first original Kenyan show, it is all about positivity and ladies and cheating husbands. The show follows childhood friends Mariah, Sintamei and Rebecca, coursing through adulthood in different situations but bonded by their friendship and struggles with the men.
Mariah is kinda single; Rebecca is kinda married and Sintamei is about to find out she’s kinda married too. Her husband for over seven years is getting married and she’s not the bride.
Sintamei is a goal-getter, excelling in her career even though she deals with misogynistic men daily. However, she has more significant problems in her personal life. She’s happily married to a man who might be happily getting married to another woman because she can’t give him babies.
Unlike Sintamei, Mariah is living her best life. A beauty and travel influencer whose career is sponsored by rich older men. She’s just returned from Paris, a mini baecation with her Zaddy, the stupidly rich and married John Kamau. Later in the episode, she visits him at his office and blesses his day with a blowjob. While on the act, Kamau’s wife came visiting. (We won’t spoil the events of this extraordinary meeting.)
Now Rebecca is the most modest of the three, but not by choice. She has financial struggles, and her husband is broke. She’s also the only one with kids and the aforementioned husband is not really a husband. But we are sticking to positivity and ladies for now. Next episode we will look at all the messy men on this show.
