The Diplomat
The Diplomat follows Laura Simmonds and her Barcelona Consul colleague Alba Ortiz as they fight to protect British nationals who find themselves in trouble in the Catalan city.
Produced by World Productions (Line of Duty), the six-part British political thriller stars Sophie Rundle (Ada Shelby in Peaky Blinders and Ann Walker in Gentleman Jack) as Simmonds, alongside the likes of BAFTA nominee Laia Costa (Sofia Flores in Devils) and Danny Sapani (William North in Harlots and Killing Eve’s Jamie).
