The most explosive moments from the BBN S5 Reunion so far

Everyone loves the Big Brother Naija show, but you know what we love more? The reunion show! It has more drama, plus the contestants come with ammunition for frenemies and Twitter fingers.

This year’s edition opened with a bang. Shots from different angles; bystanders caught strays. Infamous love triangles and trapeziums; tears and fights; broke-shaming and shaming of women who take what they want. It’s all sorts of razz drama that we love and hate to see! There’s also reflection and new stances as the contestants saw some clips from the house and now understand situations better than they did at the time.

But we aren’t focusing on love and light – maybe some other day! Today, we will go through all the explosive moments from the Big Brother Naija Season 5 Reunion so far.

The Prince-TBaj conundrum

Prince was linked to several ladies (Nengi, Wathoni and Dora), but he was more invested in Tbaj. Sadly, their relationship didn’t work, and Prince thinks it’s because of their conflicting personalities.

Tbaj thinks differently. She felt Prince never liked her and only moved to her because Nengi rejected him, and he gaslighted her into believing he wanted her. Some viewers agree.

Prince says that’s not the case and adds that Tbaj was looking at her friend’s (Vee’s) man while working on their relationship. Wahala just dey everywhere.

Tbaj vs Vee

Tbaj using Neo to make Prince jealous destroyed her friendship with Vee. Honestly, that’s unfair. It resulted in a dirty and sad spat that reminds us of how low friends can go when they fight.

Pillows were thrown. There were threats of violence and a lot of shade.

It was an ugly situation, but it was entertaining, and we enjoyed it. (Just don’t tell anyone.) Ratchet drama with a bit of gbas gbos is always welcome on Big Brother.

Lord Baelish’s triangle with Wathoni and Dora

While Ozo-Nengi was being discussed during the second episode, Wathoni and Dora were at each other’s throats. “I don’t know what your problem is. Why are you concerned with this?” Dorothy shouts at her. “I’m talking to Ebuka and you’re opening your stupid mouth to talk.”

This outburst was a little confusing. Why was Dora aggressive towards Wathoni? Also, why was Wathoni talking when the subject matter didn’t involve her? In a later episode, we realised Brighto was at the centre of it. They both liked him (how much is not clear), but he never committed. He didn’t dismiss them either. You could say he played them.

In his defence, Brighto made it clear he wasn’t interested in a relationship or entanglement; he simply opened his arms and doors to whoever came in his direction. Lord Baelish himself!

Aggressive cuddling: Ka3na and Praise

No one has been more eager to talk during this reunion show than Ka3na. She speaks irrespective of the subject and its subjects, so when Ebuka mentioned the under-the-sheet “cuddling” between her and Praise, she unsurprisingly offered enlightenment.

The gist is straightforward: Praise and Ka3na were cool, but according to her, he said they would never be an item, and that offended her. So, she dragged him to her bed (not his, she made sure of that). The tiny problem was that he lasted five seconds. Unsurprisingly, Praise has a different story. It wasn’t her in charge – it was him. Oh, semantics! In truth, it didn’t last five seconds, because the clip we all watched was longer than that, but whatever.
