The Rishantes is a Nigerian telenovela drama series about family, power, and wealth. Set in northern Nigeria, the show is a spin-off from the fan-favourite show, Halita.

Seven years after the explosive events in Halita, the Rishantes return with even more drama than ever before. With new realities come new power struggles – Adi is the head of the Rishante empire and struggling to keep his head, as well as the company’s head above water, as the company is dives deep into huge financial debts. He is also trying to maintain peace in his home, since his beautiful wife, Somma, has made it her life’s mission to turn the family house into a war zone.

Halita, who also works at the Rishante empire is struggling to be heard, while her personal life continues to introduce new interesting elements. Meanwhile, Matilda’s political career continues to put her in the crosshairs with friends and foes alike as she battles to exert dominance in her position as Senate President.

Season 2 sees the return of Kaza as the battle for who controls the Lufu Group takes a whole different turn.
