The River: Andile gets his revenge
Andile has introduced viewers to a whole new side of his character. He’s usually known as the guy who doesn’t bother anybody and minds his own business. But even he has lines that should never be crossed. You’re probably wondering what happened this time. Well, we’ll gladly fill you in.
After Njabulo was brutally attacked, Andile vowed to get justice, and that’s exactly what he did! The Dikana son discovered that Mosa, who had just started working as Lindiwe’s assistant, was one of the people behind Njabulo’s attack. He told Beauty after making this discovery and also shared how he was going to get his revenge.
Andile organised a group of his friends to help him teach Mosa a lesson he will probably never forget. They went to the mine (where he works) and caught him completely off-guard. Andile told Mosa that he knows about his involvement in Njabulo’s attack and then started beating him up. His friends watched and cheered him on. He was helpless and couldn’t defend himself.
Andile only stopped after his fiancé came by and asked him to take it easy. We wonder if Mosa will be able to walk after all of that. Ouch!
Dimpho drops another bomb
As a second-year university student, Dimpho obviously didn’t plan on having a baby just yet. She had a certain picture of her future but, as you know, sometimes things don’t go according to plan and we find ourselves in sticky situations. To make things worse for Dimpho, Tshepo has told her that he wants nothing to do with the child. The way he’s carrying on you’d swear that Dimpho made that baby by herself.
Scared and alone, Dimpho confided in her sister Tumi, who didn’t receive the news well. Instead of listening to her baby sister and giving her advice, Tumi responded by slapping her.
This was not the expected response and Dimpho found herself feeling even worse than before. Things got really bad between the sisters and Tumi ended up telling the whole family about Dimpho’s pregnancy. The news came as a shock to Cobra and his aunt, but they eventually warmed up to it. However, just as everyone was getting excited about the baby, Dimpho revealed her decision to have an abortion.
Will the family support Dimpho’s decision? Or will they try to talk her out of it? You can find out by watching The River on Showmax. New episodes air 15 minutes after the DStv broadcast.
