Will money change Walter’s mind?
A chance at a new life. An end to poverty. A new beginning. Walter could have these and more if he accepts the R5 million Lindiwe has offered.
Should he accept the money? #TheRiver1Magic

It’s no secret that Walter wants nothing more than to bring Lindiwe Dikana down. And he’s prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve this. Last week we saw the former convict convincing residents not to fall for Lindiwe’s promise to build them houses as he suspected that there was more to the story. He finally managed to get residents on his side, and this also led to Lindiwe being served with court papers.
However, it turns out that Lindiwe had another plan up her sleeve. You didn’t think she was going to take this one lying down, right? The mother of two made Walter an offer – R5 million to be specific. All he needs to do is take the money, keep quiet and disappear. This would also mean convincing residents to call off the protest and let Lindiwe continue with her plans. Can money change Walter’s mind? He really needs the money and we wouldn’t be surprised if he took it.

Tumi visits her family, but it doesn’t go well
What was Tumi expecting when she went to visit her family? If she was hoping for a warm welcome, then we don’t know which planet she’s been living on! She first went to see her sister Dimpho, and things didn’t turn out as she anticipated. As the youngest sibling, Dimpho feels that Tumi deserted her and their mother because she wants to live the nice life with rich people. There was an emotional exchange between the siblings and Dimpho made it clear that she wants nothing to do with her older sister.
On the other hand, Malefu had no words for her daughter. Tumi visited her mother’s house and instead of getting a loving hug, she was met with silence. It’s clear that Malefu is heartbroken and although she wants her daughter to come back home, she can’t forget the embarrassment she faced when she tried to convince her.
Both mother and daughter clearly still love each other but it looks like they’re letting pride get in the way of their reconciliation.
Zolani is falling in love
Zolani has pulled out all the stops to make Tumi happy, and we reckon he should be in line for Boyfriend of the Year. #TheRiver1Magic

Who knew that Zolani had it in him love another person? Tumi us bringing out his softer side and it’s a great thing to see. Zolani has been pulling out all the stops to make sure that Tumi feels like a princess. He’s showering her with gifts, fighting her battles and making sure that she sees how special she is to him.
What’s even more surprise is that it looks like this is not an act; Zolani is all in! He loves Tumi so much that he even wants them to move in together. But something tells us that this relationship won’t last. We could be wrong, though.
