The River: Cobra gets shot
It looks like Cobra’s rise to the top has upset quite a few people in Refilwe. One would think that his success would be celebrated by everyone, but that hasn’t been the case as he’s managed to ruffle a few feathers in the process. In case you’re wondering what kind of drama Cobra has found himself in this time, we’ve got you covered.
Who shot Cobra?
Ever since he became a councillor, Cobra has had quite an interesting life. He went from zero to hero in just a few weeks. And, to top it all off, his lifestyle has been upgraded and he has all the money in the world, all thanks to his dodgy tender deals.
While his new life has inspired others around his township, it has also created a few enemies for him. So, it’s no surprise that he was shot right in front of his home on Friday. It all happened while he was coming home with his sisters after the successful launch of a new project. A car came out of nowhere and he was gunned down.

Now the question on everyone’s mind is: who shot Cobra? We have a feeling that it’s either his friend Percy or Dora. They have every reason to want to take him out because it looks like he now wants all the tenders and money for himself. We cannot wait to find out what will happen next, and whether or not Cobra will survive the incident.
Zweli and Gail go public with their relationship
There’s nothing as exciting as a new relationship, right? Well, that’s what we’re seeing from Zweli and Gail right now. The new lovers seem to be head over heels and they want the whole world to know about it.
Their relationship is going really well and Zweli has even decided to tell his children about the new woman in his life. Yes, they know her as the new CEO of Khanyisa Diamonds, but she could eventually become their stepmother – let’s wait and see!
While Andile and Nomonde have welcomed the news, Mbali, on the other hand, is having tough time accepting it. She feels like her mother has been forgotten and replaced too soon.
She’s the only member of the family who’s still in contact with Lindiwe and they have been bonding in the past week. During one of her visits to her mother, Mbali shared that her father had moved on with Gail, which obviously upset Lindiwe. She’s vowed to get her “husband” back and wants to take Gail out of the picture.
