The River: Did Lindiwe kill Emma?
Is Emma finally out of the picture? Well, it looks like she has left the building, for good this time.
For the past few weeks, Emma and Lindiwe have been competing for Zolani’s attention and in the end, there can only be one woman in his life. So, how did Madlabantu deal with Miss Emma? Let’s fill you in.
If you’ve been following the show for the past couple of weeks, you’ll know that Emma found it very easy to manipulate Zolani. She successfully managed to turn him against his aunt. She even convinced him that she was responsible for her horseriding accident. And she was right.
Zolani vows to kill Lindiwe
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Emma recorded Lindiwe saying terrible things about Zolani and threatening to end her life.
After listening to the recording, Zolani confronted his aunt and she didn’t seem to care about what he had to say. That’s when Zolani decided to take matters into his own hands. He pointed a gun at Lindiwe and forced her to take a drive with him to a secluded area so that he could finish her off.

When they got to the place, Zolani instructed Lindiwe to dig a hole. We’re assuming this is where he was planning to bury his aunt. Emma also arrived to show support to her husband. She told Zolani to kill his aunt, while she begged him to hear her out. Lindiwe told Zolani that she’d give him anything, even 50% of the mine. However, it was too late. He even fired a shot at her.
Beauty reveals the truth about Emma
While this drama was unfolding, Beauty went to pay Andile a visit. She was determined to fix what Emma had broken. She told Andile everything about her cousin, including the hijacking and her plans to kill Lindiwe. Beauty also revealed that Emma’s not a real doctor and that she’s suspected of killing her first husband.
Feeling betrayed, Andile got very upset. He couldn’t believe that Beauty had hidden such important information from him and asked her to leave the house. He then called Zolani to tell him what he had just heard. This was obviously not what Zolani expected to hear as he was on a mission to kill his aunt.
Shots fired
Shocked and confused, Zolani confronted Emma and instructed her to get Lindiwe out of the hole. Emma was determined to win and tried everything to get Zolani on his side, even begging him to kill Lindiwe. The three of them then started arguing. Lindiwe wanted Zolani to listen to him, while Emma also wanted the same.
Zolani realised that it was all too much for him and didn’t know who to believe. He dropped the gun on the ground, told them to kill each other and drove off. Linidwe and Emma started fighting. Lindiwe managed to get a hold of the gun and fired two gunshots. Did she manage to kill Emma? Or will she survive once again?
