The River: Nomonde fakes her own kidnapping!
With Vero on her side, it looks like Nomonde might be able to get away with this one. In case you’re wondering how she’s scamming her family, we’ll gladly catch you up.
Will Nomonde get away with her lies?
Nomonde disappeared a few months ago, only to come back with trouble following her. It turns out, she owns a certain prince money and is being blackmailed into paying it back. While she told her family that she was working as a volunteer in Vietnam during the time she was gone, she was able to confide in Vero and tell her what she was really up to. And right now, Vero is the only person who knows the truth, and because she wants to help, she advised Nomonde to stage a kidnapping.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, right? Nomonde thought this would be a great idea and she hired people to kidnap her. She made sure that Flora was present when all of this went down so that she could share the horrific story with the rest of the family.
After being “kidnapped”, Nomonde ended up in a hotel room with Vero, who then suggested that she demands a ransom from the Dikanas. Soon, Zweli received a call from the “kidnappers” who asked for R6 million. Zweli was visibly shaken by the call while Lindiwe could see right through Nomonde and her tricks. Will Nomonde get away with this, or will the truth come out?
