Episode 25: Zandile and Hlomu get brand-new cars

Mqhele and Nkosana surprise their wives, Hlomu and Zandile, with brand-new rides. One thing we’ve come to understand about the Zulu husbands is that they spoil their wives rotten. But what about Mandisa?

Back at Nqoba’s place, Mandisa confronts her husband. She’s not pleased with the fact that the other Zulu wives received Mercs except her. Nqoba tells her that he’s not chairman anymore and also reminds her of the time when she burnt the money they made with his brothers. The viewers went down memory lane as to why Mandisa doesn’t deserve a new car and this is why:

Qhawe meets his match, Naledi

Qhawe bumps into a beautiful lady in a parking lot, and once again it’s not under good circumstances. Remember how he met Hlomu? This time it’s a doctor by the name of Naledi, and she’s yelling at him for parking at her spot. “Um, I’m sorry, Miss, but your name isn’t written on it,” says Qhawe.

Qhawe is lovestruck and speechless, just like the day he met Hlomu. While Naledi is busy yelling at him, Qhawe hears nothing – the Zulu brother is mesmerized by the doctor’s beauty. None of what she says makes sense to him.

When he comes back from his appointment, Naledi’s car is parked right in front of his making it difficult for him to leave, so he waits until she returns to the parking lot. But it turns out, both of them can’t move because her car got clamped and she has to pay car guards to get it unclamped. Guess who comes to the rescue? Yep, you guessed right, it’s Qhawe who can’t help but gloat at the current situation he and Naledi find themselves in.

Episode 26 – The Majolas have another plan, but it backfires

The Majola brothers are on the edge. They kidnap Hlomu and much to their surprise, she’s pregnant. One of the brothers, Geja, thinks hijacking a pregnant woman will only bring them nothing but bad luck. His soft spot for children couldn’t let him continue with this plan. “Come on brother, you know I love kids,” says Geja.

Before they know it, the Majola brothers find themselves in a sticky situation when Hlomu goes into labour. Lucky for them they come across Naledi who hops onto their taxi and helps Hlomu deliver a healthy baby.

Thanks to the Majolas, although they planned to cause harm to the Zulu family, they ended up bringing joy to their enemy.

Finally, something we can applaud the Majolas for and the viewers also agree.

Zandile’s father is on a mission

It seems like Bab’Ngcobo is still holding grudges about what happened in the past. He’s putting up an act, as someone who is ill and tells Zandile that he needs a new pair of lungs.

His plan is to clean up the Zulu brothers and leave them dry. Zandile opens up and makes the biggest mistake of telling him about how she escaped jail. Will Bab’ Ngcobo use this information to his advantage?

Episode 27 – Hlomu breaks a century-old cycle of boys

Hlomu gives birth to a healthy baby girl, and Nkosana gives her a name, Mthaniya. The fact that Hlomu gave birth to a girl means she has broken a century-old cycle of boys in the Zulu family.

Hlomu gives birth in the back seat of the Majola taxi. There is a lot of irony around this moment as she not only gives birth in a taxi that is owned by her family’s enemy but she also gives birth in the same type of vehicle where she met her husband.

The new doctor in town gets a warm welcome from the Zulus

Mqhele insists that Hlomu invites the Good Samaritan who helped Hlomu give birth. They invite Naledi for dinner, but Hlomu asks her not to say anything about the Majola brothers.

When Naledi shows up at the Zulu mansion, she is welcomed by none other than Qhawe. The two had met earlier under very awkward yet cute circumstances. Naledi soon realises that the lady she helped deliver a baby is Qhawe’s sister-in-law.

She receives a warm welcome from the entire family including Qhawe, and just before she heads home, they share a passionate kiss. Is it too early to say Qhawe has found his love?
