Two couples reunite at the final bonfire: Temptation Island SA episode 11
The couples are almost at the end of their romantic journey in episode 11 of Temptation Island South Africa. Before they reunite, though, they must part ways with the hot singles, which isn’t easy as some of the couples have formed connections with the singles, which will compromise their relationships with their partners.
By the end of the episode, two couples will reunite at their final bonfire meeting and their conversation will come down to one of three options: decide whether they want to remain together, leave alone, or walk away from the experience with a hot single.
There will be heartbreaks, tears, and disappointments as the couples reach their decision.
Warning: Spoilers ahead for the 11th episode of Temptation Island South Africa.
A man of honour
Before we get to the highly anticipated bonfire sessions, the episode picks up with the final dates between the couples and the hot singles. Angelique is sitting on her bed, with her head hanging low in shame – that’s what rejection does… Despite her attempts to kiss Justin – and there were many – he’s still not giving into her seduction.
It’s no secret that Justin has developed feelings for Angelique. At the same time, he wants to remain faithful to his values and his girlfriend, Estelle. So, being the good guy that he is, Justin rejects Angelique in the nicest way possible. He holds her hand and says: “I’m sorry,” before adding “I’ve given [you] as much as I could, but I can’t go back on myself. My word [that I won’t cheat on Estelle] is my bond.” Justin leaves the room and Angelique goes to bed alone and with a broken heart.
What a let down!
Justin isn’t the only man who shows his true colours this episode. After kissing Dimpho, Sifiso turns cold. It’s the morning after the overnight dates in paradise. Having shared a bed with Sifiso, Dimpho is eager to pick his brain and discuss their night together at breakfast. However, she’s met with hostility. Sifiso is brusque and when Dimpho tells him that she loves him, his response crushes her.
“I have a girlfriend,” says Sifiso in a stern tone. Well, where was that reaction last night, when he asked Dimpho to sneak into the bathroom with him – where there aren’t any cameras – to kiss him?
It’s no surprise that Dimpho feels used, and she says, “Sifiso and I kissed. He asked that we kiss behind the scenes. It wasn’t just a kiss, it was passionate.” Sifiso isn’t bothered to engage in conversation. He walks away midway through the meal, leaving an emotional Dimpho with tears streaming.
Parting ways
The couples return to their respective villas and just as they are about to settle in, host Phat Joe arrives with an announcement: the couples and the hot singles are parting ways. The hot singles should pack their belongings and leave. While everyone shares one last embrace, there seems to be tension between Sifiso and Dimpho. It’s clear that they won’t be exchanging numbers…
Reunited at bonfire
First to take the hot seats at the final bonfire session are Justin and Estelle. We look back on their journey in paradise. There’s no denying that they’ve both grown into the best versions of themselves while they were separated.
When they first arrived in Knysna, the pair had been in an on-off relationship for 13 years and Estelle was reluctant to commit to Justin. The flame in their romance had died. After being apart for a few weeks, though, Estelle is certain that she is in love with Justin , who is on the same page as Estelle – he is still smitten with her. Estelle heaves a sigh of relief. They leave paradise hand-in-hand and with big smiles on their faces.
Grant and Precious are on the fence
Next to take the stand is Grant and Precious. When they started their journey, they’d lost the spark in their four-year relationship. And the couple thought that their time on Temptation Island South Africa would bring them closer. Instead, it has only driven them further apart as Precious has forged a bond with Dain.
With hesitation in her voice, Precious says: “I want to leave by myself”. Immediately, there’s silence between Precious and Grant, which is where the episode ends…
Next week, Grant and Precious will continue their chat and we’ll also find out if Nthabi and MJ, as well as Musa and Sifiso, remain together or split. How will Musa feel when she learns that Sifiso shared a room with Dimpho?
