WATCH: Fans gather at the first-ever Whovian meetup in SA
For the first time ever, South African Whovians came together to nerd out about the world’s longest-running sci fi series at Comicon Africa 2018, held in Johannesburg last month.
Here’s what they had to say about being part of the Showmax and BBC Studios in Africa’s Whovian experience, which included immersive VR games and fan giveaways. They also told us how and when they first got hooked on Doctor Who and why they’re so looking forward to the latest season starring Jodie Whittaker, which is now streaming exclusively on Showmax.
