Wura episodes 21-24 recap: “Finish her off before the end of day”
In Wura episodes 21-24 it's a new week, and a new murder target for Wura Adeleke. Even her nephew and hitman, Jeje, is tired of her incessant taste for blood. Her latest target is Tumi Kuti, the industrious daughter of the man she killed early in the story. But why does Wura suddenly want Tumi dead? Let’s go back to how things started in this week’s episodes.

After learning what Tumi knows about her father’s death, Mide is set on killing Wura. Again, he and his sister disagree; she wants to get Mrs Adeleke using the law, but Mide believes Wura might be above it and worries about his sister working at the mine.
“So, how do you cope with seeing Dad’s killer every day?” he asks out of concern. “Wetin make I suppose do, kill her with my pliers?” she asks. “See, Mide, we need evidence before we can take any action.”
Together, they found evidence.
The plan and the gown
Tumi’s plan of getting Wura revolves around accessing the Adeleke’s mansion and picking clues that come her way. Mide came up with an idea: they would track Wura’s car movement. Some of the boys he used to roll with during his car-hijacking days can track where she was when their father was killed. Tumi just must get a receipt, then they will go to the police.
Fortunately, more considerable evidence comes in the form of a gown. Jeje invites her to the mansion for a little swim. While at the mansion, she quietly ransacks Wura’s bedroom but finds nothing useful. Later, Labake presented one of Wura’s gowns from the dry cleaner, who returned it with stains because they couldn’t get it out. When Labake mentions that the dress was stained a month ago, around the time Pa Kuti died, Tumi offers to take it to her mum for dry-cleaning. It is the dress Wura wore the night she killed her dad.

Wura goes crazy!
Wura loses her cool when Labake tells her she gave the dress to Tumi. We have never seen her this angry towards Labake before. “You gave my dress to Tumininu Kuti? Labake, get out!” she screams at her.
The following day, she directs her rage toward everyone. Her husband gets some harsh words. Jeje gets more abusive comments and a slap. “Why do you have your mother’s brain instead of your father’s?” she starts. “I told you to stay away from that girl. I told you she had a plan… she took my dress.”
Jeje thinks she is being paranoid over nothing. He sees Tumi as naïve and doesn’t think she is capable of such schemes. But the dress is proof that Wura indeed drowned Pa Kuti and she isn’t taking any chances. “She has to go, like her father,” she instructs Jeje.
Jeje the lover boy
Jeje really likes Tumi and isn’t eager to run with his Aunty's plans. He confronts and interrogates her, but Tumi answers just fine. For some icing on the cake, she allows him a kiss.
“Did she come to work today? I bet she is not here,” Wura asks as Jeje visits her with feedback. He confirms Tumi is at work and stresses that cleaning the dress was only an innocent gesture. “Oponu, she is playing you,” Wura replies with disgust all over her face. She can’t believe he is unperturbed about what’s happening. “Jeje, we can never relax. We killed a man and got away with it; now she has the one dress that is going to tie us to the death.”
Wura then instructs him to kill her, but Jeje is reluctant and does his investigation on Tumi. Game on! Watch episodes of Wura on Showmax.
