BBNaija Season 7 week 5: Phyna and Sheggz fight over wager

Since the levels got merged, the BBNaija housemates have been giving us vawulence back to back.

This week in the BBNaija Level Up house saw drama rising from every side, both between inter-level and intra-level housemates. From the intense gbas gbos between Phyna and Sheggz, to Chizzy expressing his feelings towards the housemates about food rationing in the house, chaos reigned supreme.

Here’s a highlight of all that happened in the BBNaija house this week.

Chomzy emerges as the first female Head of House in the BBNaija Level Up season

The week saw some highly anticipated changes in the Level Up season. It started with a merge of both levels, and then Chomzy emerged as the first female BBNaija Level Up HOH.

Big Brother had disqualified all the male housemates for cheating, which gave the women an opportunity to compete among themselves. Chomzy and Bella got to the next round of games, and after an intense battle, Chomzy emerged victorious and chose Eloswag to be her deputy.

Shortly after the games, the nomination process began, but unknown to the housemates, it was a fake nomination as Biggie is giving the housemates the week to bond.

Sheggz and Phyna fight over ideas for the wager task

It did not take long after both levels merged for vawulence to begin.

Trouble started while the housemates prepared for this week’s wager task. As the housemates pitched their ideas, Phyna shared hers but Sheggz was not ready to see her point. In no time tempers were blazing.

Strong words were exchanged and in the middle of this, Sheggz told Phyna that if they were both up for eviction, she would go home. Clearly, this did not sit well with Phyna, who fired back at Sheggz.

The tension between the housemates progressed till later in the day during the Close Up task, when they were paired with each other. Still carrying on with their grievance, Sheggz refused to cooperate, much to Phyna’s frustration.

Phew.

In the end, they managed to complete their task but not without Big Brother sounding a note of warning to Sheggz and girlfriend Bella, as she was also uncooperative with her partner. Both housemates were reprimanded for their noncommittal attitude to the task.

Chizzy expresses his feelings towards housemates and the food supply

This week in the BBNaija house saw some housemates hoard food, while other housemates went around preparing special meals for their partners with limited food supplies.

This got Chizzy really pissed and his outburst had us laughing out loud, “How will you tell me you want to fry fish for Bella, does Bella know how to win wager?,” he asked in anger, referring to Sheggz making food for Bella.

All is fair in love and war, Chizzy.

A brewing sismance between Amaka and Diana

New besties, Amaka and Diana, no longer have a man standing in-between their friendship and instead choose to gist about him.

What would be going through Giddyfia’s mind?

This is all we could wonder this week as we watched Amaka and Diana warm up to each other.

For context, Amaka, Diana and Rachael had been caught in a love square with Giddyfia. While Diana and Giddyfia, who were both in Level 1, had developed a friendship from early on, Amaka lusted after him from Level 2, while Rachael seemingly came into the mix when the pair danced together at the Saturday night party.

Amaka and Diana, however, appeared to not let man drama get in the way of friendship, as they spent the week getting to know each other and bonding, leaving Giddyfia quite uneasy.

It was just another day in the BBNaija house when Amaka decided to satisfy her craving for meat pie, so she used the microwave for her food mission.

Unfortunately, she forgot she had pies in the microwave and almost burnt down the house. Her action made Biggie punish all the housemates – no housemate is to use the microwave for a week.

Bummer!
