Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce S1-5
Abby is taking on the world with fresh eyes in all the seasons of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.
This awesome series is based on Vicki Iovine’s books and follows Abby (Lisa Edelstein from House) who’s a self-help author trying to help, well, herself. She’s forty-something. About to be divorced. And her career is in freefall too… in the unforgiving setting of Los Angeles.
What’s Abby going to do? Huddle up with a bunch of gal-pals who’re not just going to give her advice and send her off into the big bad world – they’re coming with for the fun-venture ride that’s going to include men, booze, bad decisions and maybe a chance having everything work out in the end.
“Getting this at the age of 48, playing a woman who is having fun with a variety of men, is drinking way too much, eating way too little, is going through menopause in couture gowns and all the while trying to find a career and raise her kids, is a gold mine,” says Lisa.
