Showmax and Vision Plus partner to offer customers three months of streaming
Showmax and Vision Plus have partnered to give customers who buy a Vision Plus smart TV three months of Showmax.
Showmax is a streaming service that bundles the best of African and international entertainment with live sport from SuperSport. When a customer buys a Vision Plus smart TV from any authorised dealer, retailer or online vendor, countrywide, they will receive three months of complimentary Showmax viewing. The Vision Plus smart TV remote also has a dedicated Showmax button.
This deal is valid for the next two years, from September 2022.
As part of its local-first strategy, Showmax tailors the content, apps, packages and partnerships to what is most important to subscribers in different countries.

This bundled deal with Vision Plus helps Kenyan streaming fans access Showmax at the touch of a button, with the latest premium content.

Showmax recently launched the Kenyan political thriller series, County 49, which follows the intrigues of the fictional Bwatele County, Kenya’s 49th county. County 49 stars some of Kenya’s best like Wakio Mzenge (Selina), Ainea Ojiambo (Igiza), Peter Kawa (Uradi), Nyokabi Macharia (Country Queen), Maqbul Mohammed (Crime and Justice), Martin Githinji (Sue na Jonnie), Benson Ojuwa (Njoro wa Uba), Sam Psenjen (Sincerely Daisy) and more.
Other popular Kenyan content available on Showmax include the thriller series Igiza, set in Nairobi’s fashion industry and money laundering world; the police procedural and legal drama Crime and Justice S1 and S2, the drama series Single Kiasi that follows the dating escapades of three women in Nairobi; the audience-favourite reality series Kyallo Kulture and more.
International shows feature the best of HBO, like House of the Dragon and Industry, and Emmy winners like The White Lotus, Succession, Barry and more. Kids’ favourites include Paw Patrol, Henry Danger and DC Superhero Girls, which is first on Showmax. Hollywood blockbusters include Spider-Man: No Way Home, 007: No Time to Die, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and A Quiet Place: Part II.
Showmax Pro features the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as well as the English Premier League, Serie A and La Liga matches plus a wide range of live sport from SuperSport including the Winter Olympics, pro boxing, international marathons and IAAF athletics on top of the full Showmax entertainment catalogue.
How a customer can enjoy this offer
- Purchase a Vision Plus smart TV from any authorised dealer, retailer and/or online vendor country wide.
- Register warranty via https://visionplus.co.ke/warranty.
- Upon successful warranty registration, Vision Plus will send a voucher code to the customer via SMS and/or email.
- A link to Showmax registration page will also be included in the same SMS for easy voucher activation.
