The Real Housewives of Lagos trailer – get your first look

The Real Housewives of Lagos trailer is here. Naija, the eagle has landed! After months of anticipation, we’re finally getting a first look at the cast, and we can all agree it’s about to be litty lit! The trailer opens with a shot of the ladies boarding a private jet, because what is a Real Housewives show without a luxury trip? We also see the ladies on a yacht living their best Eko-Miami lives.

But what really has us shook is Nollywood actress turned billionaire (ex)wife, Carolyna Hutchings proposing a toast to “gold-digging”, and in the next scene proclaims:

“I got married to a billionaire; poor people can’t stand that”.

Okay, hol’ up! Did Carolyna just throw some major shade? We have to admit we didn’t see that coming at all. Given the fact that she mostly kept a low profile during her marriage to billionaire Musa Danjuma and went even lower under the radar after the Tagbo episode, we didn’t know what to expect from her.

But, if the trailer is anything to go by, we think it’s safe to say that Carolyna will be one to watch out for on The Real Housewives of Lagos.

Now if there is anyone we’d place a bet on to give some gbas gbos on the show, it would definitely be fashion designer and serial entrepreneur Toyin Lawani and she doesn’t prove us wrong. Not one to shy away from drama, Toyin announces her presence on the trailer saying: “If you come on my page, I block you.” Okay Mummy Tiannah, we hear you.

From the fashion to the display of wealth and of course the epic one-liners, The Real Housewives of Lagos trailer is already giving us premium content vibes and we’re here for it.
