Joselyn Dumas is celebrated for her beauty and her impeccable acting skills which have earned her a place in Ghana’s movie ‘Hall of Fame’ with roles like Potato Potahto, Shampaign and Adams Apples.

In Dede, Akwaaba Magic’s popular telenovela also available to binge on Showmax, Dumas takes on an unlikely role as Felicity, an over-the-top jealous stepmother who manages to drive away her step-daughter to work as a maid in the city. Playing a typical Ga woman, Dumas outdoes herself while cracking ribs with her wit and her caricature-like multicolored makeup.

Dumas also stars in Ghana-Nigerian hit series Ghana Jollof as Abena, an HR manager who trying to seduce her boss Kweku (James Gardiner). Other stars in the Showmax Original comedy-drama include Nigeria’s Basketmouth and Ghana’s star man, Mawuli Gavor.
